Hi, I’m Jennie Cushman! I truly enjoy working with children and adolescents, helping them feel seen, understood, and supported. In 2017, I earned my master’s and specialist’s degrees from Clemson University and have spent the past nine years counseling children and adolescents in the school setting. Currently, I am an licensed professional counseling associate (LPCA), pursuing certification to become a registered play therapist.
I am deeply passionate about play and expressive arts therapies as pathways for children to communicate, heal, and grow. My work is grounded in person-centered theory and shaped by attachment theory and body-based modalities, honoring each child’s innate capacity for healing within a safe, attuned relationship.
When I’m not counseling, I enjoy spending time with family, getting lost in a good book, creating with arts and crafts, taking photos, or lingering over coffee with a friend. I love being outdoors and walking the trails around beautiful Greenville, South Carolina!
